ASJMC Individual Membership Benefits
Individual Membership in ASJMC is designed for other administrators from member programs who are interested in enhancing their skills as an administrator, and staying abreast of the issues facing journalism and mass communication education today.
Individual members may serve on and chair appointed committees, and participate in all programs and discussions. Individual members of ASJMC do not have voting rights, and may not seek elected offices. Only administrators, or former administrators, from ASJMC-member programs are eligible for individual membership.
Individual members receive all ASJMC mailings, newsletters and publications including its annual faculty/administrator demographic and salary survey report, and are eligible for all ASJMC programs and workshops.
ASJMC Individual Membership Provides:
- Opportunities to participate in workshops that will enhance your administrative skills
- A subscription to ASJMC Insights, a journal devoted to administrative issues facing journalism and mass communication leaders
- A copy of the annual ASJMC Faculty Salary Survey
- ASJMC Administrator, ASJMC’s newsletter, which features news, articles and proceedings of association activities
- Opportunities to network with other administrators from across the United States
Individual ASJMC Membership Fee is $50 per year.
